Letterpress and Polymer Plate Printing

An introduction to metal type letter-pressing and printing with a Polymer plate. The Octopus was designed in Adobe Illustrator and transferred to a Polymer plate with the use of UV light. The UV light hardened the artwork, and after washing away the rest of the plate, the Octopus is now a useable stamp. I paired the Octopus with a collection of metal type to create an art print.
